A CLOSER LOOK WITHIN

· WOMEN'S ISSUES ·

· THERAPY FOR YOUNG ADULTS & COLLEGE STUDENTS ·

· HYPNOSIS ·

I help ambitious, worried and anxious individuals let their guard down.

I've worked with people for over 13 years who have depression, stress and anxiety.

My clients experience change over their time in therapy not just with their anxiety, but with how they relate to the world and and in their relationships.

You try to add one more thing onto your" to do" list, and there never seems to be enough time to fit it all in.....

It’s the beginning of the day, and you are already feeling overwhelmed. You are committed to your work, family and studies, but each day you come home feeling deflated and exhausted.

You receive good feedback from your boss and colleagues, but you just don’t believe it, and you continue to doubt yourself.

You look at your life and it seems as if everyone around you is getting ahead but you.

You are starting to get that familiar feeling again that you don’t fit in anywhere.

You begin to think that this amount of worry is normal, when it is not. You start to lose sleep, stop exercising and withdraw from family and friends. You feel paralyzed by stress and now your mind has constant racing negatives thoughts.

Something has to change.

You want to find someone that will listen to you and that you can trust. You want someone that can stand by you as you get
through this difficult time.

Our past contains revealing clues to why we experience the dilemmas that we experience today in our lives. Understanding
our history just for the sake of understanding  doesn’t lead to change. However, understanding how many of the “problems” that we experience today are replications of unresolved problems in our history can be very advantageous, and can lead to rapid change of long standing issues in relationships with self esteem, managing success, having confidence, or simply being able to enjoy our life to its fullest.

I help ambitious, worried and anxious individuals let their guard down.  I enjoy working with clients that are experiencing stressful and chaotic challenges that are impacting their daily lives. I address issues with great compassion, empathy and with light hearted humor. My clients experience change over their time in therapy not just with their anxiety, but with how they relate to the world and and in their relationships. They begin to feel better about themselves, and more connected as they work through their pain.

I have worked with people for over 13 years who have depression, stress and anxiety. My clients typically come to see me weekly so that they have consistent support, and can move out of feeling like they are in a state of constant crisis.

I will often integrate meditation, body movement, hypnosis and or mindfulness so that you have the tools to help you find calm in your day to day life.
Therapy does not have to feel scary and difficult. It can feel like a very safe place to finally breathe after you have been drowning for a long time.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT

Learn About My Methods

I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

I offer a safe, supportive ambiance which allows you to take a break from the demands of your daily stresses, and gently learn how to create a happier you...

Overcome Guilt and Shame: There's no need to judge your feelings as bad, shameful, or unworthy. With therapy, you will learn what these emotions are telling you, and then release them, so you can be free.

Embrace Vulnerability and Intimacy: Grow deeper and more fulfilling relationships by growing your relationship with your true and authentic self. When you find self love, you will naturally attract real love from others.

Embody Self-Love and Self-Care: Learn to prioritize the person that matters most - You! Meeting your own needs and caring for yourself first and foremost is the only way you can hope to meet the true needs of others.

Find Harmony in Work/Life Balance: Find the peace of mind that comes with having something to look forward to beyond your professional goals by living an intentional and soul-fulfilling life.

Define Yourself Beyond Achievement: Realize that you are more than the work you do, your accomplishments, and your performance. Re-discover the other parts of yourself that you love and appreciate.

THERAPY FOR WOMEN

I focus on the whole woman. My goal is to help each of my clients become the best version of themselves. Are there parts of you that you would like to change? Do you struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, trauma (PTSD), loneliness, depression, parenting, work/life balance, body image, postpartum or any other common issues that many women face today? If so, please know that I am here to help you get through life’s difficult moments, while using them as a way to transform.

Women face many conflicting messages in regard to living a full and satisfying life–messages concerning what we should do, what we should think, how we should look, how we should act, and who we should be. We put so much importance on these messages that we get caught up in trying to attain them–even if they are unattainable. And with all of the external noise and chaos, listening to our inner voice and deep intuition can be difficult. Therefore, many women struggle with feelings of self-doubt and unworthiness, which can lead to more serious issues.

HYPNOSIS/HYPNOTHERAPY

Clinical hypnosis with strategic psychotherapy

Your mind is incredibly powerful, and that power can be used to help you heal, see things differently, overcome limiting behaviors, and discover new possibilities within yourself.

Therapeutic hypnotherapy helps us source the upsetting experiences we have ‘forgotten’, learn what we actually feel versus what we tell ourselves we feel, and discover and change the beliefs driving our habits. We can tell the unconscious what we would prefer it to do, such as how we’d rather respond to a physical or emotional trigger.

Hypnotherapy can help to heal:

  • anxiety

  • post-traumatic stress

  • phobias

  • panic attacks

  • performance anxiety

  • chronic pain

  • depression

  • sexual dysfunction

  • concentration difficulties

and help you to overcome:

  • negative thinking

  • fear of public speaking

  • lack of self-confidence

  • problems with making decisions

  • not being able to see the bigger picture
